Cinema? More Like Personality Trait

From cinematic masterpieces to absolute chaos I can’t stop quoting, this is my ever-growing collection of movies I love, watch obsessively, or pretend I discovered before they got cool.

Here are my most recent 4 watches.

And here is my Letterboxd

The Amateur

My expectations were wayyyyyy too high for this. It suffers from almost every spy thriller cliché imaginable, and no amount of good acting can save it. It drags on for way too long with an ending that is stupid and unsatisfying. Please do better.

Some seriously amateur filmmaking if you ask me

The Host

I understand why people love this movie. It’s beautifully shot, the story can be emotional at times, and the CGI is impressive, but in my eyes, it falters when trying to juggle comedy and drama too much. It's a great comedy, it’s a great drama, but it’s a mediocre mix of the two.

I can’t decide if this is supposed to be a comedy or a. drama. It does both so well but it needs to pick one for me to rank it higher in either category.

Highlander II: The Quickening

I finally did it. I continued further into this madness that is the Highlander universe, and I’m still blown away. These films make no sense, and they’re perfect for it. Sean Connery being a part of it is unbelievable, and he’s still by far the best part of these movies.

two movies in and i still can’t believe this is a real thing.

Black Bag

A star-studded cast that gave me exactly what I was looking for. Black Bag’s is the perfect espionage mystery that has Fassbender putting on another amazing performance as a cold-hearted spy guy, and I love it.
